Ну не знаю, где там расизм, а где интернационализм (там имхо адская смесь обоих компонент), но вот как-то подумалось, что товарищ во многом прав.

И действительно, какая разница, откуда завозить воров и проституток - из России, или из Судана?

Well, that's pretty simple :)
-- No particular concern about $$$, they hardly came from the Israeli tax payer.
-- Yes, certain amount of ideological and humanitarian idealism.
-- Demography.
-- Additional workforce, including the high quality one.
-- Weakening the USSR - really crucial factor.
-- Empowering the rightists in Israel and in the US. Most of the immigrants support at least Likud.
